Independence & non-affiliation
Who runs this register, and our relationship — none — to the agencies whose records it catalogs.
No government affiliation
This site catalogs material that government bodies have released to the public. We are not connected to and do not represent the Department of War, the Department of Defense, the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, NASA, the Department of State, the Department of Energy, the PURSUE program, or any other agency, office, or initiative.
How we refer to agencies and programs
We use official agency and program names — such as “AARO,” “PURSUE,” and the releasing agencies — only descriptively, to identify the public records being catalogued. Such use does not imply any authorization, partnership, or endorsement. We do not use any government seals, logos, or insignia; the Disclosure Register mark is our own original design.
Source documents
The primary documents we index are published by the respective agencies on their own official websites. We catalog and link to those records; for most entries we point you to the agency’s own file rather than re-hosting it. Works prepared by U.S. government officers as part of their official duties are generally not subject to copyright (17 U.S.C. §105). Our own text, scores, methodology, and design are © Disclosure Register.
